Beautiful HUGE Egyptian ushabti measures about 7" Dating is the late Rammesside or Third Intermediate Period 1070-713 BC suggestive. Ushabti are considered the most plentiful Egyptian artifacts and were mass produced in the later period. Often referred to as "servants of the dead". They had funerary and votive uses and were made from a variety of materials such as: clay, faience, bronze, ebony, glass and marble.
