Thracian bronze helmet

Greek 'Thracian type' bronze helmet 450 - 400 B.C. Found at Lake Copais, Boeotia, the letters punched on the rim read HIARON meaning 'sacred' which indicates that the helmet was probably a votive offering. (British Museum).
